Please be civil,
respectful, and not self-righteous; bear in mind that every idea we
think are the products of personal value judgments. I operate on the
conviction that there is no such thing as right or wrong, or true and false, unless
it comes from an original provable source; there are very few original sources
that can be found. Every thought is based on personal perception of what we
read and hear, and, the lessons we learned during our childhood, therefore every thought is a value-judgment. With that always in
the minds of all involved in an exchange, there can be no, “I’m right, you’re
wrong!” which will avoid arrogance by all parties.
*********************************************************************
NOT UNTIL WE PUT THE TRUTH ON THE TABLE
CAN WE DEAL WITH IT;
Without truth, we solve nothing
This site is dead
serious. I believe, truly, that
American society will begin a downward slide toward oblivion in about 2029, and
take a nosedive directly to the bottom in 2031, when everyone will be learning
to speak Arabic, and Chinese. I will probably not be here, which is a pleasant thought.
What will be the
cause of the crash? The liberty of “Big Banks” and the existing gambling
approach in the stock market that leaves buying and selling to people and computer’s
decisions based on nothing concerning the firm that had issued the stock; the
corruption our government has been selectively prosecuting without having put
anyone in prison, and without having stripped them of their ill-gotten wealth. The
money market produces nothing; banks not lending to small businesses produce
nothing; the total effect of all the above exceeds the sum of the parts.
Additionally, the
personal wealth of the few that has an unjustifiable and overwhelming effect on
a money-driven election system, and our observation that The U.S.A. has lost
most of its definition, as Schwarzenegger is losing his, (body), completes the
cause. Federal involvement in our local activities not only exacerbates the
above causes of a weakened national life, but makes a genuinely healthy economy
unachievable.
Being so heavily indebted
to other nations leaves us belly-up to acquisition by those creditors, without
firing a single shot, and, the lack of substance in our currency; the United
States is fast becoming a bankrupt civilization, not only financially, but in
definition; it lives on smoke!
All the movers and
shakers who will lead us over the brink will move to their homes on islands in
the Caribbean, where their wealth already is. (Count those in Congress and big,
big business who own a home off-shore.)
What follows is a
step-by-step procedure to avoid the final downturn, and is the TBEPP’s official
platform. I am not a negative weirdos; I’m quite a funny old guy, good-looking,
sexy (In the eyes of one gorgeous 31 year-old, who likes older men), brilliant,
humble, and balanced.
Due to the fact that
the USA is a nation of too many selfish and ignorant voters, I am
convinced that America has no future. That’s because, even if each of our
readers accepts any of our ideas, I am positive that not even one percent of
you will do anything about it; not writing your congressmembers, a letter to the editor, or to email me with well-considered
opinions. But, to keep me busy until I
get a break by being assigned to life on another planet, here are my steps to avoid
the crash of ’31 on this one.
THE FOUNDATION
Only a tightly set,
and tightly enforced, system within which over 300,000.000 people can thrive
together without misery inflicted on us by movers and shakers, can prevent the
crash. Centralization of government over so large a country as ours had opened Americans
to abuse, loss of control, and ruination; we need a safe and successful return
to state management of our local and personal affairs, exactly as the
constitution permits. (There is government,
and there is management.)
Every one of the
following ideas, as they are developed, would solve the unemployment problem.
That means JOBS in the private sector! Civil service does not add wealth to the
economy!
IF YOU DON’T KNOW, DON’T VOTE!
A blank ballot is as valid, and more informative,
than one completely voted - without conviction. Everyone should turn in a
ballot, but it need not be complete.
Don't vote an opinion not your own
What follows is the
platform of The Bald Eagle Political
Party; the party of balance. Now that the taking-half of the voters re-elected
Barry O, and the Democratic System, we need a plan to replace the Republicratic
Party with a new one in 2016; A party of balance; the Tea Partyers are too
manic, the Libertarians just short of Anarchy, the Democrats too humanistic and
lack appreciation for balanced books, and the Republicans are loaded down with
two "evilists": self-righteous religionists who want to eliminate religious
freedom for others, and the movers and shakers who are trapped in the lust for wealth that
reduces their value to society for their creating and nurturing national prosperity.
We need a party of balance, and a nation of true freedom…from each other.
The main thing is
that the nation has, and continues to lose definition;
Think of a body builder letting his
musculature go to ruin; this nation no longer has character and personality. We
have become an unidentifiable country, and people, be it government, set of
principles, or dependability. Rather than coming together, we are falling
apart. This party seeks those who want a nation uncontrolled by passionate,
self-righteous people who want their religions
and political/social beliefs to rein over all. We need a complete
re-organization of our system of government.

TEN STEPS TO PERFECTION
STEP ONE
DEFINITION AMENDMENT
Voters should coerce
Congress into passing an amendment to the constitution defining the term,
“Speech” as, “written, or oral,
communication of thought; the giving of a thing is not speech.” This would open
the door to eliminating money, or gifts to candidate’s campaigns for elective office.
This amendment is to
make way for step two, without which nothing can be done to avoid the anarchy
and the crash of freedom and prosperity that Burton foresees.” (He’s from the
fourth planet in the third quadrant of the Milky Way. Jon Luc Picard once slept
there.)
STEP TWO
FECMA
FECMA is an acronym
for, Federal Election Campaign Management Act, and the Agency it would
establish. The act would not promote taxpayer support, or political maneuvering
of campaigns as they are run today, but it would eliminate money-driven
elections, and criminalize any and all contributions and gifts to candidates regardless
of purpose; the financial impact on taxpayers would be minimal. This law would
leave it to the voters to make it work, or cause it to fail. Sadly, because of
the recent Court decision regarding private financing and corporate giving to
candidates, FECMA would not stop “big-money” from establishing massive funds to
drive us all up the wall with obnoxious ads for candidates who choose to run
outside of this system; voters, however, would have the final say about such
candidates. Americans will truly get what’s coming to you - good or bad - after
a FECMA goes into effect. That’s a certainty!
Nothing can stop the
crash without FECMA, and FECMA cannot exist without step one: “The Definition
Amendment.” I regret that you will have to read the book – not scan- but Read it; it explains all facets of the
system.

STEP THREE
OUR TAX SYSTEM
Begin to separate the
national government from the individual American by making the Infernal Revenue
Bureau a small staff within the treasury
department, while transitioning to a system which bills the states for their
proportionate share of each year’s federal budget; each state would have their
own system of taxation. Following this legislation should be those bills that
withdraw the national government from our lives where it need not concern itself;
activities that do not impact the nation itself, or more than one state. The
system of taxation that would help save the nation is as follows:
I suspect the sixteenth amendment of 1913 was
intended to by-pass our founder’s Republican system by sneaking around the states
to gain control of the individual. I tend to think that it was a genuine
conspiracy by those who preferred a nation without semi-independent states. Let’s
do as so many people want: delete it.
1.
Each year, we would take the average state economy throughout the
nation as 100%, and determine each state’s position to the average. The federal
treasurer would then bill each state based on its economy and population, from,
say, 50% to 150% of the average.
2.
Each state would then create their tax system to include paying the annual
federal tax bill over the following year (Monthly). This will permit poor
states to decrease their taxes as a result of paying less to the Fed, which
would make it possible to increase their own income, and help their economies,
according to their own judgment.
3.
This system would allow people to take care of their own state,
counties and cities. Federal management would gradually surrender control of
the American people as individuals.
4.
Replacing our present tax system with the above will freeze in place
tax-breaks such as 401-K, other deferred-tax income; each state would then choose
what, if any, benefits to adopt.
5.
Life would be less complicated by the elimination of deferred income,
and fringe benefits for new workers that escape taxation; The IRS book of
regulations would shrink a few pounds, and higher after-tax income would fund
one’s own plans for the future; keep government out of it. All fringe benefits
provided by employers should be taxable to the employees. (This would reduce
tax percentages.)
6.
As this new system of federal and state direction of our domestic
affairs, the national budget, and the debt, should shrivel, and the states
would choose what to adopt as Washington closes or reduces the size of each
bureau that is not essential for
national administration. Then, at a future date, Congress should meet only
every six months, and the District of Columbia would become a bedroom
community. (LOL).
7.
The flow of taxes should be from the bottom to the top; from the
citizen to the city, to the county, to the state, to the nation. Our present
tax system is totally out of our control!
8.
Now, bear in mind, states cannot just print money; funds must be
available to support anything they do!!!!!!
9.
Mortgage and other loan- interest should be terminated as a tax
deduction. If we don’t have government giving incentives to buy homes, there would
be no reason to consider interest as anything other than part of the cost of
things financed. To whom it matters, Rent! Why should government incentivize
buying; let businesses do that.
S.H.Gritz@Hotmail.com
STEP FOUR
NATIONAL “PAPERS”
A President cannot
get even close to resolving the domestic problems we are faced with. It will
take a new dedicated party in power, with a balanced set of values, and the
collective chutzpah to resist criminality and opportunity to dominate the
legislatures of the nation and the states. Only then can we hope to see a
candidate who will actually lead us toward the maturity we should have achieved
a long time ago.
The Republicratic
party works hard to resist the natural inclination of most people to want a
daddy and mommy-type of government supported by independent, high earning
fellow citizens. In return, Democrats, not limited to members of congress,
accuse republicans of being a power-seeking, and money-driven gang of heartless
ogres. The fact is that the constitution dictates that we be a republican form
of government, not democratic.
·
Democrats, for the most part, believe in serving the people; they are
humanistic. Therefore, to them, we are a democratic system, which we were not
meant to be.
·
Republicans know that we are a republic; leaders being elected by the
people, rather than by elected representatives. The United States is not a democratic
nation, it is a democratic republic. It was designed to have popularly-elected
representatives make decisions based on their own judgment; not their
constituent’s, but with their preferences in mind.
·
We call ourselves a Democracy because the people can input our desires,
so we forget that our system is not run
by the demo’s, but by the leaders the Demo’s chose.
·
Each side of the aisle has members of extreme thinking; either toward
the left, or the right. Each party-member is faced with decisions to join the
majority of the party-members, or go with his or her convictions, if any, and
not actually contributing their true values.
·
Each party has “gangs” among
them; representatives with independent and balanced members must go with the
majority to get bills passed, or rejected. Presidential candidates are those
selected by a few leading members, with a vote of the officially adopted
candidate of the party. Qualified members of a party, who are inclined to
reject too many of the party’s favored legislation have no chance to be
nominated for the Presidency, and a balanced-minded member will not have the
support of one’s party, either Democrat, or Republican.
·
The Bald Eagle Party will not run candidates for president until we
have 25% of both houses. ( Naturally, I am compelled to think of the possibility of actually creating a real party-not a Tea Party type-not that I take it seriously.) Only by the Bald Eagle Party’s balanced values disturbing
congress, will the direction our downward slide to oblivion be reversed, or at
least, halted. It’s a conundrum that all
predictions of collapse are treated as lunatic-ravings,
even if we know that all things must end. But not yet! Why not tomorrow?
·
We are The United “States," not the United “People.” The people
constitute the states, and the states constitute the nation; an unbreakable
relationship. All national domestic law passed by our representatives should be
administered by the states where national administration is not essential. We should sever the
national government's relationship with the individual. Only in the sense
of our sharing the same nationality are we “A united people.”
·
This Party will fight for a national ID card for every living soul in
the U.S. Our having a lifetime ID card,
with only our picture, and finger-print on a ribbon that only a single
particular computer can read - in a
language of its own - which would be available only through government
extensions - not commerce, or privately-owned - is the solution to so many of
our immigration, law enforcement, and deficit problems that, not to have one is
in my judgment, ridiculous! Only political
paranoids compare a plastic ID card, to needing “papers” to move around the
country. We do not permit law enforcement officers to ask for the card without
just cause. And moving among the states would not require “papers,” as the constitution
dictates.
·
Additionally, as for all legal applicants for residency should be
required to swear under oath, that they believe in the separation of “religion
and government.”
The only problem we
will face is handling the troubles of illegal’s children, and good quality
parents who are contributing to our society. Our solution to that is the good
idea of processing them to legal status. Why now? Because, with a National ID
card for every soul legally in the country, we could assume that there will no
longer be an expensive illegal entry problem to fight; an ID card for every
employment, or legal transaction to replace driver’s licenses and actual social
security cards; every employer who fails to check for the official ID card
should be heavily fined, or hanged.
All illegals, having
lived in the U.S. for longer than two years, and have received no welfare
benefits for at least eighty percent of the time they’ve been here, should be
permitted to apply for legal residency upon payment of federal and state taxes
equal to the average of all taxpayers in the same income bracket during the
past two years.
I support the
amending of the constitution to define a natural born citizen as one who is
born to a citizen; a child born to an illegal, permanent, resident who is not a
citizen, or married to one, should not be considered a citizen.
·
There would no longer be people jumping the border and dropping a baby
in an American hospital for the benefits due a citizen.
·
Legal residents, upon
becoming citizens, should have their citizenship include their minor children.
·
All adult children of former illegals who become legal should be given
legal status, on application.
STEP FIVE
Restoring a Bracero
program would be good-if enforced, and I know no reason to not do so, except to
not provide unemployment
payments to any legal resident out of their type of work for longer than one year who
rejects a job offer of any kind.
As for Braceros not
returning home after season, a national ID card, indicating their temporary
status, and expiration, would take care of that; reasonably.
S.H.Gritz@Hotmail.com

STEP SIX
SOCIAL SECURITY
Transfer all FICA tax
income to the twenty-six most stable private national life, disability, and annuity
companies to manage and distribute payment to recipients - one insurer for each
of letter of the alphabet- who should be
free to invest the funds with the most conservative approaches- as they
currently do for life insurance and annuity beneficiaries, with much success.
Insurers would be
allowed a small percentage of the payments for their management services, plus
a reasonable share of the return on investments each year as profit. The rest
of the earnings would go toward funding the reserves to the level at which they
should be. Over 98% of SS taxes would go to beneficiaries.
This would remove SS
tax funds as an asset of the government, and out of the hands of congress and
the administration – we would then know the real deficit.
Insurers invest with
prudence, increasing the pulse of the economy, and produce absolute safety of
principle and a reasonable return on investments. After a time, as the funds
increase, retirement income to beneficiaries would increase with inflation. (No
involvement in investment decisions by beneficiaries!)
STEP SEVEN
PEDOPHILES
See to the
realization of my solution to this problem, as illustrated and explained in my
novel, “The Winner, Gritz.”
You could save the lives and psyches of millions
of kids, and their parents, and save billions of dollars to boot. Let us do
what Solomon Hochman did with his
money.

B&N actually lets
you read the first chapter.
STEP EIGHT
A NATIONAL HEALTH INSURANCE PLAN
(Not a “healthCare” plan)
I have an idea for a
national health-care financing plan
that no one is paying attention to, because it calls for thinking outside the
box. Here is a précis’ of it:
Congress and the president
should have designed a basic national plan of benefits designed by a committee
of three of the largest national insurers. The plan should be issued and
administered by participating private insurers within the states; Americans
would be automatically covered even if not registered. States must be allowed
to require minimum residency, and mandated to continue coverage for ninety days
should an insured enter or leave the state. The states will pay this premium,
based on their own average medical costs. They should not, though they may,
mandate their citizens to buy additional coverage, but let the people who
choose to not buy a private Major Medical plan suffer the consequences with the
lowest cost care; no bells and whistles; this would give such people food for
thought. (There are always charitable organizations that could help pay for Association
group insurance on all its members, where all premiums are paid to insurers in
a single transaction.) Each state should be free to decide their approach.
State taxpayers would
cover only the cost of minimum provisions to make the patient whole, at minimum
cost. There should be no heart-bleeding for those who made a choice to not buy
coverage; we should operate on a wise, and fiscally sound, and genuine, concern
for people’s developing quality of character; continuous dependence on government
is very harmful to character.
We should discontinue
being led by social heart-bleeders =’s naive children in adult bodies, as to
what we-all should do for each other - by mandate. (I suspect that such people
do not chip-in for any of the benefits they demand from Big Daddy and Mommy.)
Insurers within each
state can offer a variety of Major Medical policies – with guaranteed
insurability during a sign-up period - to come into play when the basic
coverage does not cover certain problems, or runs out. Employers, associations,
and charities, would pay all, or part of their members/beneficiary’s premium
for major coverage, through reduced-cost of administration: group insurance.
The result? People
on, or near, the bottom step of the ladder would be covered, healthcare
providers would lose less money, the poor, and homeless would get check-ups, and some preventative
care, and the many members of the middle class would afford to buy Major
Medical policies - if not top-notch, then a compromise plan. And, no new
government insurance bureau would come into existence, giving us more civil
servants who do not contribute new money to the system.
Medicare would no
longer be needed; both the national basic plan, without premiums, and partial
payment for a private Major Medical policy of their choice - total benefits
being equal to present Medicare - personal charitable giving would take care of
the rest.
To repeat; insurers
within each state can offer a variety of Major Medical policies – with
guaranteed insurability during a sign-up period - to come into play when the basic
coverage does not cover certain problems, or runs out. Insureds, employers,
associations, and charities, would
pay all, or part, of their members/beneficiary’s premium for major coverage,
through the mechanism of wholesale insurance.
The result? People
on, or near, the bottom step of the ladder would be covered, hospitals and
physicians would lose much less money providing for them, the poor would get
check-ups, and preventative care, and the many members of the middle class
would afford to buy Major Medical policies, if not first class, then a
compromised plan; and, no new government insurance bureau, and no more Medicare
department. Personal charitable giving would take care of the rest.
NOTE: I think that the
top five insurers should get together with congress and create a major medical
policy they could all live with, designed to ride on the automatic national basic
plan. Such a major plan could be the standard from which insurers in all states
can design alternative plans. Their particular operating expenses and profit
margins would promote competitive premiums.
S.H.Gritz@Hotmail.com
**********
People earning over
$150,000 annually should be relieved of premiums for SSA life and health benefits,
with the proviso that, years in which they earn less income, they will be
returned to the system, without penalty during such years.
Congress should
eliminate laws that permit a state to reject insurers from doing business
unless it is due to reputation, coverage, or fiscal concerns; there should be no
state monopolies!
We don’t need to buy
across state lines, and certainly should not want states to conspire with an
insurer to monopolize the business. I believe this to be an instinctive pursuit
by people who can think only of a single nation by helping to convert the USA
to a single government, with no states. As it is, each state has a different
economy, political system, and life style, therefore different premiums for the
same intrastate coverage, even down to difference premiums for each county. By
buying over state lines you would average the premiums over the country, and
deprive states of the benefits of the economy they built.
Health care providers
who add profit margins to supplies and equipment in addition to their charges,
and overhead for dispensing their own services should not be honored. Medical
billing should show the actual cost of the supplies and the use of equipment,
then, show their overhead and profit as separate entries. {Aha!}
Medical care billing
is not like charging for merchandise. An aspirin in a hospital should cost the
wholesale price plus cost of delivery, if separate; 8 cents?
I had sold health
insurance and handled medical insurance claims for fifty years, so my insight
is limited.
One thing is certain:
Insurance premiums and HMO care will never, ever, decrease, or even remain the
same percentage of our personal ability to pay, until we revalue our currency.
Not with the ever-increasing medical technology growing full-bore; we really
are going to make “Bones” on Captain James T. Kirk’s Starship Enterprise, look
uncivilized, but it will get close to equaling the cost of our homes, per year;
all because we think we have a right to it with no limitations, for $1.98 a
year, and everyone should be required to chip in to pay it.
STEP NINE
MARIJUANA
We will work to legalize
the use of marijuana nationally, and permit states to prohibit it, control it,
and tax it at their discretion. All national personnel currently enforcing laws
against the growth or use of hemp will be given other duties, or be terminated,
which is to say, dis-employed, not killed.
All funds saved as a
result of this move will be used to reduce the national debt.
The problem with legalizing the weed is
the battle with the monolithic businesses that have everything to lose if
marijuana is legalized; graft will move billions of dollars into the pockets of
legislators. The war to keep marijuana illegal will be won unless Congress is
made up of people dedicated to eliminating the billions of dollars of wasteful
expense from the budgets of the federal and state taxpayers. Of course, we also
lose out by not being able to tax these businesses. And, don’t forget the
Lawyers who make oodles of $ defending dealers.
Now, we have a “triple whammy”: no sales
tax on marijuana sales, no income taxes on growers, distributers, and
retailers, and the taxes we currently pay to fight this impossible battle to
“purify the race.”
How many lives and
limbs will be saved by this approach?
How much less will we
have to chip-in for police, medical, and court trials connected with law
enforcement of laws that will forever be broken?
((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((
Without a purpose, life is not worth
living. Without diversions from the serious issues in your life, there is
insanity, and without reasoning, there are few intelligent decisions. So
spaketh Burton Ridgewaythustra!
))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
While the above steps
are taken, (LOL) there are many more things for us-me and Burt-to address. I
will add our thoughts, as well as you readers, and edit this site daily until
my fingers are too weak to control, and I fade into the netherworld like a
rejected suitor.

THOUGHTS TO
PONDER
·
Separation of church and state: As long as the church has tax advantages
for being one, they must obey man’s laws; surrender those advantages and man will
let them do as they wish. “Very logical!” Says Mister Spock.
·
Where Republicans force religion and morality on us, Democrats force
bankruptcy; Bald Eagles would force nothing but the containment of
self-righteousness in the minds of the movers and shakers.
Have you heard the expression, “Single facet thinking”? Of course not,
I thought it up. Relative to a diamond that has many “facets” to it: some
people deal with only one facet of a many-faceted question - which most questions
are - and ignore all the others. Of course that makes dealing with the question
easier than trying to reason through all the facets, and adopting a legitimate
viewpoint of the whole subject - on balance; I get the impression that not many
people do that! Seinfeld would say: “Not that there’s anything wrong with
that!” Sure there is! What follows is a challenge to tunnel vision.
SOCIAL
1.
We need a bill submitted to Congress to limit retirement funds offered
by multi-state employers, or associations, to plans administered by reputable
disinterested third-party firms - with no executive, or owner, related to the
employer. These fund-managers should be governed by the U.S. Secretary of
labor. They should guarantee a minimum interest rate, a share of excess earnings,
and assume all the risk.”(Like insurance annuities); leave it to employees to
risk their disposable income without their employer, or union, involved; and we
should eliminate tax incentives for such contributions, which would increase
the net benefits when claimed.
2.
Deleted. (Too vulgar!)
3.
Permits and licenses to do business within a single state should not
need federal involvement, if the business or personal activity does not affect
a federal facility. State legislators should outlaw permits and licenses
designed to keep newcomers out of a type of business. Let competition be truly
free, without politics, and let “little people” start their own businesses
without laws promoted by those already in it, to protect themselves. Florida is
entertaining the idea of protecting Morticians by requiring makers and sellers
of coffins to be licensed after years of education. That’s ugly!
4. As I believe home ownership is not necessarily in most people’s
favor, the tax deduction of the interest should be eliminated as a deduction
for new buyers, or re-financers. It’s said that deducting home interest was to
give people an incentive to buy; in this economy, home ownership is too
expensive and troublesome. It will be a long time before anyone is going to see
equity; renting, for the tenant should cost 50% less than owning, leaving lots
of money for savings, and purchases; personal homes should not be looked upon
as an investment, except as a business.
Yes! “Landlords” (they’re not Lords, you know!), lose out on this
idea, because tenants are not always as loving to apartments. But those who
want to own their home for the sense of security it provides can have an easier
life living middle-income by not having to carry the year-to-year burden of
paying for potential equity, along with interest, home maintenance, taxes, etc.
It’s for them to decide, and to "eat" loss's in value. Punishment for economic downturns should be
shouldered by themselves, not the rest of us, certainly not by the President,
Congress, or the State with money that does not exist; we live on smoke, you
know!
S.H.Gritz@Hotmail.com
EDUCATION
1.
Public schools should modify their systems to begin with
five-year-olds on how to listen, and to focus, on anything - and to reason, in
addition to the “three R’s.” Everything else should take second place;
memorizing should be in last place. How
to reason one’s way through life should be the Prime Directive; [reasoning how
electric traffic lights and the "walk" signal really work would be
good!] anything else should be privately run options offered by each school, in
competition with all others. Schools – public and private - should be overseen
by states, with the least national involvement as possible. Every grade should
have a class on reasoning, relative to the attained age of students.
2.
States should feel free to order their cities, and counties, to sell
their schools to close-corporations set up by the teachers of each school, for
the value of the “plant’s” property, equipment and hardware, on a fifty-year
non-interest-baring note; the notes would be held by the State, and used for
the general interests of their counties. Those teachers who don’t buy shares
would work for the corporation owned by their associates, and the new owners
would know what it’s like to be on the other side of a union. God!!! That would
be painful!
3.
All employees of schools for students below college level should be
licensed by states, mandated to clear all applicants for any position through a
national computer for any reports of pedophilia; and the Principle to report
all employees proved to be pedophiles
within three days of the dismissal subject to personal penalty.
FOREIGN COLLEGE GRADS
I would like to know what special interests prohibit national and
states from giving foreign students with diplomas automatic residency permits.
We educated them and insist they go away. Why?
The U.S. Postal service
7. I think we should look
into making it a commission issuing franchises to intra-state corporations who
issue county franchises to private parties, required to deliver any and all
mail (one way or another); mail to be distributed by the national distributors
to the state distributors, who would be free to partner with private mail services
in distribution, and delivery. Bonding will, of course, be essential. I believe
Article 1; sec. 8 of the constitution does not prohibit this.

VERY SERIOUS STUFF
1. In golf, clubs are referred to as right, or left handed; we are
either right-eye, or left-eye-dominant, regardless of what hand is dominant, so
I think the golf industry and professionals should change their references to
apply to the eye, not the hand. Make it so, because I use left-eyed clubs. In
the hands of an Octogenarian, they’re pretty dangerous!
2. The Eleventh Commandment is of course, “Be ye therefore perfect.”
Well, you’ve read perfect solutions to our nation’s problems, and if you disagree,
I dare you to argue with me.
3. Did you know that Hong Kong’s average IQ is 107; South Korea is
106, Japan is 105, Italy, and Germany are 102, England is 100, and the USA is
98?
4. In this holiday season, once again we are reminded that free enterprise
and our dependence on economic transactions to support ours, and governments,
needs, moves manufacturers and retailers to bug us with commercials and sales,
which results in them continually moving Thanksgiving and Christmas up a few
days every year. I imagine that by the year 2020, we’ll be faced with
Thanksgiving sales for 2021 three days after January 1st of 2021; and
Christmas sales the following week. Then we would have to create new holidays
to follow Chanukah.
5. Seriously; a business with hundreds of employees in a single campus
could be situated on property that provides *rental* housing for employees.
* The rent would be absolutely minimum, non-profit.
* Those employees who move into such apartments would be paid less
than those living elsewhere.
* The property would provide the popular retail outlets, where people
would pay non-profit prices.
* There would be no need for the use of vehicles ( golf carts would be appropriate) to and from work; no
gas, electricity, less maintenance=less cost-of-living.
* It would be private property with controlled ingress/egress, and
private police; no gangs, no theft, all non-profit.
Result: The cost of manufacturing in the U.S.A. would be very near the
cost in Asia, with no cost for overseas shipping, and total quality control.
Put this in your pipe and suck it in! Then give me arguments.
LOSING DEFINITION
Additional proof that we are losing it, is the way we use words; e.g.
Amagine for imagine; amergency for emergency; etc. We have to learn to tawk
good!
CHRISTMAS
Aka, THE HOLIDAY SEASON
“Christmas” means Christ Mass. It is a religious day. It had long ago,
as you know, become a gift-buying season = Commerce. We Americans give thanks
in November; commerce takes over on Thanksgiving night, and Christmas lasts
from November 26th at 6:00PM until the same time Christmas night,
after which the sales of leftovers ( Newly made for the occasion) begins. Then
there’s New Year’s Eve, and a hangover on January 1st; then the debt.
I would like to see a growing change in America where people of
Christian orientation celebrate “Christ Mass,” when gifts are not the point and
shopping is replaced by going to church, and sitting cozily with the family.
(Invite a single person of the faith who is without family.) Never mind
shopping!
What to do with the continual drop in business? Spread shopping for
gifts over the next year, as you go about your activities; buy gifts for
particular people for particular reasons and accumulate them for a special day.
That way, as everyone joins in, buying would be spread over the year, creating
permanent jobs instead of temporary holliday jobs. The economy of one month
would be spread out.
What day? You ask. A day you, and each member of the family, will
select each year known only to each of you; (A secret!). On that day, each
member of the family would, on their day, invite everyone over for a surprise party
and give them the gifts you had purchased throughout the year. They will all be
shocked, surprised, grateful, and full of love and joy. Then the Christmas music
would fade out until it is played only December 24th, and 25th.
(This would also guarantee an eventual gift for you from each of the guests.
Aha!)
Now, before Christ Mass, stop wishing Jews a Merry Christmas and give
them a Hanukkah card, or gift, instead. Then there would no longer be the need
for a “Holidays” card. There are cards for every culture/religion. We, with
friends and acquaintances of different cultures and faiths, would make note of
their holidays, and send them a card, or gift, as well. God! What would
December be like without it being a commercial season?
I’m thinking that, maybe we don’t need birthday gifts either! Nahh!!!

RE: the book, “Divinity of Doubt.
The God
Question”
by
Vincent Bugliosi
Vince “stole” all the words and ideas I had written in 1998; I wish I
still had that hard disk. There is absolutely no difference between his and my
thoughts on this subject; he just wrongly defines Atheism. He has in mind
professional writers who leave no room in their arguments for the possibility
that they may be wrong, and does not recognize that such people are not only
atheists, but egocentrics, if not just debaters who speak with certainty.
Because my war-cry is, “there is no such thing as right or wrong, or
true or false in philosophy,” I am an Atheist because I *believe* that there is
no such thing as a God – Christian or otherwise (He is Jewish, you know); I am
wise because I know I could be wrong. Vinchenzo has in mind the un-wise, as
Atheists, and the wise, as Agnostic. My being a wise Atheist would have Vince
call me an Agnostic.
An agnostic, as he notes, is one who doesn’t know, or care, and in his
battle to defeat the verbose and self-righteous wrongly defines Atheism to
include ego-centrism; I disagree. Vince is an Atheist!
I have spoken!

THE ORIGIN OF MARRIAGE
Today, 2/6/13, As a curiosity, I googled, and ask.com’d this question,
and found answers mostly based on limited, and self-serving guesses, so I
decided to inform you-all of the truth, because my friend Burton says he was there at the
time, so this is his take on it.
The origin of marriage predates all known current religions and
traditions; it began when one cave man having been thinking of what was going
to happen with his well-furnished cave, favorite axe, and pitching staff,
noticed that the man-children in his women’s cave looked just like him, so he
pulled her by the hair into his own cave, and took possession of the kids. Then
he trained the boys to join him in going for groceries, while mother and the
girls cooked and kept the cave and environs clean. After a while, the others in
the tribe noticed how well it worked that they did it too. That was the
beginning of marriage; it was an economic creation.
When cavemen evolved into Homo sapiens people eventually came to think
of marriage as a necessity for “legitimacy,” because those who needed to be
leaders could have authority by declaring the necessity for “legitimacy.” So a marriage ceremony was designed to give more importance the leader.
From then, marriage became a means to disperse personal “estates;”
Religion eventually took it over, but it was merely an economic tool until Love redefined it. It is still, to many,
just a means to legalize ownership, and transfer of possessions.
Love, and the desire to live together does not really need
“legitimacy; living in a society, makes it desirable to the majority of
humans.”
Burt says that on his former planet, simple personal contracts,
registered with the local administration, took care of everything- without a lawyer!
They do practice the prohibition of mixing bad blood with good, which
is to say intelligence, and culture. (Not religion; it doesn’t exists
there.) And they have no wars. Sounds like a good
place to live, but Burt says they’re not as exciting as us earthlings;
intelligence is so boring.

At 80, helped President Monroe shape the Monroe Doctrine.
At 81, almost single-handedly created the University of Virginia and
served as its first president.
At 83, died on the 50th anniversary of the Signing of the Declaration
of Independence along with John Adams.
Thomas Jefferson knew because he himself studied the previous failed
attempts at government. He understood actual history, the nature of God, his
laws and the nature of man. That happens to be way more than what most
understand today. Jefferson really knew his stuff. A voice from the past to
lead us in the future:
John F. Kennedy held a dinner in the white House for a group of the
brightest minds in the nation at that time. He made this statement: "This
is perhaps the assembly of the most intelligence ever to gather at one time in
the White House with the exception of when Thomas Jefferson dined alone."
Thomas Jefferson spoke thus:
"When we get piled upon one another in large cities, as in
Europe, we shall become as corrupt as Europe ."
"The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those
who are willing to work and give to those who would not." "It is incumbent on every generation to pay its own debts as it
goes. A principle which if acted on would save one-half the wars of the
world."
"I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the
government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking
care of them."
"My reading of history convinces me that most bad government
results from too much government."
"No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms."
|
"The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep
and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in
government."
"The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the
blood of patriots and tyrants."
"To compel a man to subsidize with his taxes the propagation of
ideas which he disbelieves and abhors is sinful and tyrannical."
In 1802:
"I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our
liberties than standing armies.
If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue
of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and
corporations that will grow up around the banks will deprive the people of all
property - until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers
conquered."
As I’ve said at the beginning, America will bite the bullet before
2031 for not basing its decisions on the above.
